OUR HISTORY

Software and the Human Genome

After more than a decade at Microsoft, Don Rule set his sights on the impact of the digitization of the human genome and the role software could play in turning genomic data into actionable recommendations for better health outcomes. Then, in 2009—after seeing firsthand how laboratories were suffering without the right technology to advance pharmacogenomics—Don founded Translational Software® with the goal of enabling healthcare providers to realize the promise of precision medicine.

Today, Translational Software's Precision Health Nexus connects laboratories, healthcare organizations, and even healthcare IT organizations to accelerate the use of genomic data for smarter, more comprehensive healthcare solutions.
